Chaplaincy Services provide spiritual, ethical, and personal support to school communities. Scripture Union Qld chaplains provide positive adult role models for students to connect with at school and provide a listening ear and caring presence for students struggling with issues such as difficult relationships with other children or family members, poor self-esteem, family breakdown, and depression. Chaplains run positive, fun activities for students and assist in fostering supportive, caring school communities.
Our school chaplain is actively involved in school activities and is an integral part of our school community. Funded by the National Schools Chaplaincy and Welfare Program (NSCWP) programs include Fun Friends and Friends for Life social skills programs.
Consent is given by parents on enrolment for students to voluntarily access the chaplaincy service when completing the chaplaincy consent form (PDF,101KB).
